Fair Trade Coffee!!!

We only use coffee from the Huatusco Co-op in Mexico, a co-op of nearly 2000 members (including over 600 women) that focuses on finding new and better ways to cultivate and market cocoa beans in order to lift their community out of extreme poverty.

The success of the coop has allowed them to open schools in rural areas, while also teaching surrounding communities about crop diversification, organic production and rotation in order to improve local productivity.  The success has also allowed for the establishment of a credit program that funds infrastructural growth projects, such as road construction, and has also allowed for the opening of rural health clinics.
